Deal Intelligence

Supply-chain diligence on any target in days, before you are in the data room.

Type any acquisition target and get a modeled picture of its supply chain, built from public data alone, with zero cooperation from the target. Walk into the LOI holding a modeled tariff-shock cost, the modeled cost of losing the top supplier, and a modeled DC-consolidation scenario. Numbers nobody else at the table has, and every one carries its source and method.

The sample is an anonymized pack on a public company, generated from public data. No obligation.

What a pack contains

Eight sections, the same every time. This is the whole pack, in the order a deal team reads it.

01

Executive network map

The target's modeled facilities (stores, DCs, plants) and geocoded supplier network, each node carrying its data source and confidence label. The physical footprint, pre-LOI, with zero target cooperation.

02

Cost-to-serve baseline

Modeled annual cost split into transport, tariff, holding, and handling, per unit and by stage, in the format an IC memo consumes. A logistics cost-to-serve, not cost of goods.

03

Tariff and origin exposure

Modeled sourcing mix by origin country and FTA-aware modeled duty exposure. Framed as modeled strategic exposure, never customs or compliance advice.

04

Downside scenario battery

Lose the top supplier, a plus 25% tariff on the dominant origin, and close the weakest DC. Each is a deterministic, auditable changeset, re-simulated and compared to baseline.

05

Concentration metrics

How much of the modeled network leans on a few lanes, a single facility, or one origin region. One page of risk arithmetic for the memo.

06

Confidence and data coverage

What public data grounded the pack, where it was thin, and what the bands mean. Targets without SEC filings get wider bands, stated in the pack, not in fine print.

07

Provenance annex

Per-number source labels, the hashed model-call audit trail, and the changeset id for every scenario. The answer to how do we know this was not made up.

08

Delivery

A branded PDF plus a tracked share-link data room. Every open is logged, so you see exactly who on the deal team engaged.

Two packs, posted prices

Priced per deal and invoiced to the deal fee. No seats, no software procurement, no security review. Cash up front or 50/50 on engagement and delivery.

Pre-LOI screening pack

$15k to $35k

About 3 days elapsed

Screen a target before exclusivity. The full eight-section pack: network map, cost-to-serve baseline, tariff and origin exposure, the standard downside battery, concentration metrics, confidence section, and provenance annex.

  • All eight sections
  • Standard three-scenario downside battery
  • Provenance annex and confidence section
  • Branded PDF plus tracked share-link data room

Full diligence pack

$40k to $60k

1 to 2 weeks elapsed

Everything in the screening pack at greater depth, plus custom what-ifs agreed at intake, peer comparison where the catalog supports it, and a working session to walk the deal team through the findings.

  • Everything in the screening pack, deeper
  • Custom what-if scenarios agreed at intake
  • Peer or comparable overlay where available
  • A working session to walk your team through it

Optional add-on, priced separately: a merger-overlay scenario that composes your platform company and the target and quantifies the overlapping footprint. Offered only when both are public-data generable.

How a pack is built

We build a modeled digital twin of the target's supply chain from public sources, run a twelve-month flow simulation over it to produce cost-to-serve, tariff exposure, and concentration, and run the downside scenarios as deterministic, auditable changesets. Every record carries a data-source and confidence label, and every model call is hashed and logged, so any number traces back to its inputs.

Read the two-page methodology

What this is, and what it is not

  • Built from public data alone. It is an independent reconstruction, not the target's audited financials and not target-provided data.
  • Every figure is a modeled estimate, labeled as such. Dollar and tariff figures are directional, read them as on the order of.
  • Tariff is modeled strategic exposure, not customs, tax, trade, or compliance advice.
  • Targets without SEC filings have thinner public footprints and wider confidence bands. We tell you that in the pack, not in fine print.
  • Not investment advice, and not a sole basis for any decision.

Common questions

Do you need cooperation from the target?

No. The entire analysis is built from public information (SEC filings, public store locators, OpenSupplyHub supplier disclosures, places and building-footprint data). We do not need, request, or use any data from the target, so we can model a target before you are ever in the data room.

How accurate are the numbers?

Every figure is a modeled estimate from public data, labeled as such. The value is the shape of the answer: relative magnitudes, concentration, and the direction and rough size of downside. Dollar and tariff figures are directional, read them as on the order of, not as precise facts. We tell you in the pack where the public data was thin.

Is this customs or tax advice?

No. Tariff figures are modeled strategic exposure on the target's modeled sourcing footprint. They are not customs, tax, trade, compliance, or legal advice, and not a substitute for a licensed customs broker or trade counsel.

How is this different from a consulting diligence sprint?

Traditional ops-diligence starts after exclusivity, runs four to eight weeks, and costs several hundred thousand dollars. A Hylios pack is days, a fraction of the cost, needs no target cooperation, and ships with a provenance annex a fiduciary audience can audit.
