The signal
Associated British Ports has acquired Global Shipping Services, a cargo handler operating at Hull, Goole, and Immingham that processes over 1.5 million tonnes of cargo annually.
The acquisition enables ABP to extend Global's stevedoring, warehousing, and specialized heavy-lift capabilities across its broader 19-port network.
The deal represents consolidation in UK port operations and may improve service coordination for shippers using multiple Humber facilities.
