The signal

Brado Logística and CMA CGM have launched a joint Customs Transit Declaration (DTA) service that allows importers to clear goods at Cuiabá Dry Port rather than Santos, unlocking state tax incentives while cutting port storage costs and demurrage risk. Operating since September 2025, the service leverages Brazil's DTA regime to move containers inland immediately after authorization, reducing container dwell time at the maritime terminal and the associated fees.

By pausing the free-time clock during rail transit and routing shipments through rail corridors, the partnership delivers a comprehensive cost and operational advantage that extends to a wide variety of cargo types while cutting CO2 emissions by up to 85% compared to all-road transport. This approach represents a structural shift in how importers can optimize their supply chains for the Mato Grosso region, blending tax policy benefits with logistics efficiency and sustainability.
