The signal
DSV reported a near-17% post-results stock rally following its Q3 2024 earnings announcement, though the company's air and sea freight volumes showed slower growth compared to competitor Kuehne + Nagel.
CEO Jens Lund indicated that core A&S volumes are plateauing after coming out of the trough, representing an inflection point.
Meanwhile, semiconductor and cloud infrastructure shipments are driving growth, and peak-season capacity constraints for AI infrastructure shippers could push air freight rates upward in coming weeks.
