FreightTech Awards 2027: Nominations Open June 29

FreightWaves has announced that nominations for the eighth annual FreightTech Awards will open on Monday, June 29, 2026, with an application deadline of August 31, 2026. The program recognizes the most innovative and disruptive technology companies and forward-thinking transportation providers across North America. A significant change this year is the inclusion of the awards celebration at the inaugural F3: Future of Freight Festival Awards Dinner on October 26, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where the top 25 winners will be announced live on stage.

The nomination process maintains rigorous vetting standards through a three-tier evaluation system: FreightWaves' internal research team and journalists first curate a FreightTech 100 list (announced September 1), which is then evaluated by approximately 80 independent external judges comprising industry CEOs, academics, investors, and logistics executives. The final rankings are audited by independent accounting firm Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough (HHM) to ensure credibility and transparency.
