The signal
Lebanon has launched a US$1 million refrigerated container shipping subsidy through CMA CGM to reduce freight costs for apple exporters shipping to Arab ports in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Libya. The initiative supports Lebanon's 2026 apple marketing strategy, which aims to reach 100,000 tons in exports while strengthening agricultural logistics and regional trade routes.
