Overroute has publicly launched its agentic AI freight execution platform following a year-long collaboration with J.B. Hunt, marking a significant shift toward autonomous operational decision-making in trucking and freight management. The platform deploys AI agents to automate shipment coordination, exception detection, and customer communication within carriers' existing systems, with live deployment across J.B. Hunt's entire business units managing millions of loads.

This development reflects a broader industry trend of using AI not as a reporting tool but as an embedded operational agent that works continuously within freight workflows.
