The signal

STG Logistics announced the appointment of Jack Holmes as CEO, effective immediately, replacing Geoff Anderman who successfully guided the company through Chapter 11 restructuring in 2025. Holmes brings 37 years of UPS experience, including tenure as president and CEO of UPS Freight, positioning the intermodal marketing company for growth post-emergence.

The company simultaneously restructured its executive team with new interim CFO Clinton Smith and General Counsel Cherie Schaible, while appointing Gary Enzor as chairman alongside five new board directors with deep transportation and logistics expertise. This leadership overhaul follows STG's emergence from pre-packaged Chapter 11 protection, which included nearly $1 billion in debt reduction and $150 million in new capital from investors including Fortress, Fidelity, and Invesco.

The combination of experienced executive leadership and reduced financial leverage positions STG to stabilize market capacity in the intermodal sector during a period of industry consolidation.
