Atlas Air Completes 49% Air Atlanta Investment, Expands Global Cargo Capacity

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has successfully completed its strategic investment in Air Atlanta, acquiring a 49% minority stake in the Iceland-based all-cargo carrier while its leadership team retains 51% control. The transaction includes the acquisition of 14 widebody freighter aircraft by Atlas Air's subsidiary Titan Aviation, which will be leased back to Air Atlanta for continued operations.
